The Putney Rowing Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing rowing opportunities within the local community. Our rowing season runs every year from mid-spring to mid-fall and we welcome anyone, regardless of experience, to become a member. Our boathouses are on the Connecticut River at Putney Landing in Putney, Vermont. The PRC offers yearly learn-to-row clinics for new rowers or those looking to add sculling to their sweep skills and targeted clinics for more experienced rowers looking to improve their technique. Members have access to club owned boats and equipment as well as rental space for privately owned boats. The club’s fleet is entirely sculling boats and includes singles, doubles and a quad. Further information about our club can be obtained from our handbook and bylaws.
Every fall the PRC proudly hosts the annual Green Mountain Head, a stake format sculling regatta for singles and doubles of all ages.
